Logan glanced around. Where am I? He wondered. The last thing he remembered was being thrown into the air.
“What would you like, sweetie?” His mom sat across from him, looking up at something. “Rice Noodle or dim sum?”
“Huh?” Logan looked down at the table. There was a pair of chopsticks and a bottle of hot sauce in front of him. Was getting hit by that car a dream?
“What would you like, honey?” His mom asked impatiently.
“Oh, dim sum.” He answered absentmindedly while staring at the weird message on the chopsticks wrapper.
He looked out the window of the restaurant and saw the commotion. There was an old lady lying in the middle of the road, her groceries scattered all over. It was then Logan couldn’t help but exhale a deep breath of relieve even though he felt bad for the old lady. It was all a fantasy.
