Continuation of last week…
A body suddenly crashed through a plate glass window at the Brigadier’s house. One of the ladies fell out of her chair while the rest frantically scrambled and fled. The men remained seated, not wanting to move.
“I told you not to panic.” Gregory said shaking his head and pinching the bridge of his nose. “We could’ve just knocked. But no, you had to go all frantic and fly through the window.”
Johan bore his teeth in an awkward smile. The planes were driving him crazy these days. A few minutes ago, they were hidden in the bushes outside and then an airplane flew by and Johan immediately switched to panic mode and dove into the house.
“It’s okay, ladies.” Gregory addressed the ladies still frantically fleeing the room. “My boy here just panicked. We don’t mean to scare you.”
One of the ladies dipped her head and examined Gregory and Johan. She chuckled. “Oh, is that your boy? They’re big these days, aren’t they?” She turned to the other ladies. “It’s alright, ladies. Let’s get back to the game.”
One of the men coughed. “About time.”
I’m having trouble understanding why they were outside hiding in the bushes.

Apparently they’d been traveling. They got out of the car and prepared to look for refuge in this large villa when a plane flew by, Johan freaked and dove into the bushes and so did Gregory. They hid there until it was gone and stepped out of the bush just as another one approached. Johan panicked and dove into the window.

Well, Johan certainly knows how to freak out in style. No little jump for him. Nice one, Yinglan. 🙂

Thank you.
Yes, he does. It’s probably the child-side within him that’s making him act this way. After all, he’s still maturing. 🙂

I’d hate to see what those guys do if something really scary happened! After their initial panic the ladies took it in their stride, though.

Looks like there are a lot of uncomfortable times ahead if they’re that jumpy. Well done, Yinglan. 🙂 — Suzanne

Great continuation, it made me laugh! The two characters you have created work brilliantly together, and Johan definitely knows how to make an entrance.
Reminds me of something from a Carry On film.
