“Do you remember this?” Grants chuckles as he gazes at the painting. It is painted by him, fifty years ago. It is where he met Julianna, the love of his life.
It was a marvelous day and 24-year-old Grant decided to set up his canvas and brushes just far enough from the waterfall to capture his masterpiece. He studied the view before him and he was about to pick up his brush when a voice interrupted him.
“Such a breath-taking view, isn’t it?” He turned around and saw a woman. She had blond hair and piercing blue eyes.
He watched her study the view and became slightly distracted. He coughed and returned his attention to his blank canvas. “Yes, it is breath-taking.” He replied slowly.
“Well, I better get going then, don’t want to interrupt your work.” Too late, he thought as he watched her walk away.
“Wait, what is your name?” He shouted after her.
“Julianna.”
“Of course I remember this,” He turns to his wife of fifty years. “It’s where I met you.”
