“The cemetery spread along the area known as Devils Abode. It’s a cursed place.”

“W-why are you interested in such a place?”

Big-Man laughed, “I ain’t gonna let perfectly good land go da waste.” He scoffed, “Curses! Who cares! Mark my words, houses in Devils Abode are gonna worth millions and people are gonna pay. First though, I need that damn cemetery leveled.” He pointed at me, “That’s where ya come in.”

“N-no way.” Two large thugs grabbed his arms. “I’m not doing your dirty work for you.” He spat.

Big-Man waved his hand, “Gentlemen.”

He felt a sharp sting as the needle entered his neck and a strange haze set in. As the haze cleared up, he found himself standing on the tall grass of the cemetery, grave stones surrounded him. He heard beeping and looked down, realizing he was wearing a vest of bombs with a yellow post-it note stuck on the front. “It was a pleasure doing business with you.”

    1. At the end there, I was kind of rooting for the guy to just take off the vest and run but then I thought, it might be too late even if he managed to strip the vest. So it looks like the big man’s plan will work one way or another. Thank you for reading. 🙂
