Monday’s Finish the Story: To Get Away With Theft

2015-11-02-c2a9-2015-barbara-w-beachamShe lived a life that some would describe as being on edge.Finding her home alone before midnight would be rare thing for she was always out, either getting a drink or running an errand for her boss.

“I need you to find me a coin,” her boss said just merely four hours before, “no, two of the rarest coins ever made.”

“Where can I find such coins?” She asked.

“How should I know?  That’s why I hired you, right?” Right, she thought, I’m the assistant. “What are you waiting for? Go! ”


“Hey! Watch it!” She snarled after almost getting mowed down by a cab. Why did I move to New York City again? She sighed as she stepped on the sidewalk. She opened her purse, the coins gleamed at the bottom. She looked back-and-forth anxiously and let out a breath. She had just robbed a museum for her boss. She glanced at the coins and swallowed. This is the last act.
