Spring oh spring, what took you so long to arrive?
I have waited and waited through the snow, the rain, and the roller coaster temperatures.
So tell me, where have you gone all this time?
This is a response for Sonya’s challenge, 3 Lines Tale, where we write 3 lines about the picture above.
Today, April 21, 2016, is the first 80-degree Fahrenheit day in Utah. It no longer feels like spring. It feels more like summer today and after experiencing teens, twenties, and thirties degree temperature for so long, 80-degrees feels boiling hot to me. I wonder how I’ll make it through the summer.
Many years ago I decided I was done with shoveling snow… raking leaves… and mowing grass… and waiting… and waiting… for Spring. Now I live in the desert southwest. Ahhhhhhhh…

I’m so done with that too. Unfortunately, I don’t like the hot weather either.

I’ve been there in the fall and it was colorful then, I bet it’s more colorful now.
