“I want to see the world.” Lemon 1, who is closest to the edge of the crate, says.
“Great idea! I’m tired of always end up in the refrigerator or being squeezed dry or worse, cut into thin slices and clamped down at the rims of some tall glasses! Yo, give me a boost, I’m going with that guy.” Lemon 2, buried beneath at least five lemons, agrees but no one helps him.
“Hey, why should you two have all the fun?” Lemon 3 argues and next thing anybody knows, all the lemons begin bumping each other, debating who should be free, that the crate begins rumbling; then one side of the crate falls off and all the lemons roll onto the ground, bruised and battered.
This is a response for Sonya’s challenge, 3 Lines Tale, where we write 3 lines about the picture above.
Very creative thinking Yinglan…

Teamwork is so underrated. Now they free but battered and bruised. One of them surely has turn to sour grapes

Maybe wearing the same colors and hanging out turned them into a gang. Their tree must have been on the wrong side of the tracks.
