“Nice mailbox. It looks ancient.”
“Thanks, same as the house, it’s been in my family since the beginning of time.”
“That is a mighty long time. It’s a wonder it’s still functioning. Your family must had taken very good care of it.”
This is a response for Sonya’s challenge, 3 Lines Tale, where we write 3 lines about the picture above.
I love writing and getting hand written letters. The best way to keep a mailbox functioning – put in a letter from the heart!

LOL! I can see the Pony Express running by on their horse and sticking a letter in the mailbox. Cute story!

I haven’t received a hand-wrote letter in years…
Do you have a penpal? Because that would be amazing

Me too. I think the last time I received one was more than a decade ago when I was in China and no, I don’t have penpal.

My girlfriend has multiples and receives letters every week. I think it’s really sweet.
Don’t think it would work for me though, I’m not consistent enough on my timetabling haha.
Awesome post. Glad to see you’re immortalising memorabilia, seeing as emails are taking over

I don’t think it’ll work for me either. I tend to procrastinate especially in doing something like replying a handwritten letter or even email. Thanks for reading. 🙂
