He stared at the cupcakes, mouth watering and then at the people around the room, biting into the succulent little things.
He is allergic to eggs, you see, and knowing his son’s condition, his mother put extra eggs in the cupcakes for the brunch anyway.
“I’ll be right back, don’t touch the cupcakes,” his mother warned, heading to the bathroom and watching his mother disappear, he headed over, grabbed a cupcakes, and shoved it into his mouth; the moment he swallowed the cupcake was the moment he collapsed.
This is a response for Sonya’s challenge, 3 Lines Tale, where we write 3 lines about the picture above.
No fair leaving us up in the air like that! Interesting story though… and you can be sure that exact scenario has happened numerous times… with serious consequences. Good story…

I’m sure this scenario has happened many times though I can’t be sure of the conclusion. Therefore, I left it open. Thank you for reading. 🙂

I think she just want to teach her son a lesson, to wait and be rewarded. She probably had some eggless cupcakes hidden somewhere. Thank you for reading.

Hmmm, I’m not so sure about this mother putting all those eggs into the cupcakes knowing her son is allergic! Great story!

That was a mean mother. She should have found a recipe or went out and bought a few cupcakes her sun could eat. He must have been terribly allergic if the moment it touched his throat he pretty much collapsed.
