Here is a shot of the cherry tomatoes in the garden. It’s not ready yet as you can see. So far, maybe only two or three are ready to be picked. They are so good, so sweet and juicy. I think my mom planted these late May or early June. She was worried that there wouldn’t be any this year since July was a scorcher. The watermelon didn’t survive the heat but these tomatoes did and I’m glad. I rather have these than tens of watermelons.

I bought some beautiful beefsteak tomatoes at the farmer’s market yesterday. they canned nicely.
