Everyone knew her as a regular at the Funky Munky Bar. She’d come in everyday at twilight, donned in red. Red trench coat, high heels, a large scarlet hat, and a clutch purse. She’d sit at the counter. “A Bloody Mary, please.” She’d say in the deep voice that reminded everyone of the olden days. After the drink, she’d place a twenty on the counter and she would disappear.
No one knew where she had gone, certainly not the front door nor the back door.
Then one day, one of the gentlemen regulars decided to follow her. He’d followed her through the kitchen and down the flight of stairs to the basement he’d never knew about. Then he lost her. Afraid, he was about to head back upstairs when she appeared. “Hello,” she said in her sultry voice. “May I help you?”
“N-no, I g-got l-lost.” He stammered.
She grabbed his hand elegantly, “Well, since you’re already down here. Will you join me for a drink?” He gulped and was never heard from again.

I got that she was a vampire — although even if she wasn’t, clearly she was out of this man’s league. He was just asking for trouble!
