“Scream.”
“Why?”
“To let go, duh.” He stared at her like she had gone crazy. “Come on, we all have buried emotions, unsaid words, don’t you want to let those out?”
“Well, not exactly. I mean, don’t things stay buried for a reason?”
“Ahhh!” She screamed the longest scream all of a sudden.
“Why did you do that?”
“Try it, and tell me you don’t feel 100 times better.”
He stood there for a moment, contemplating before, “Ahhh!” He screamed with all he got, every emotion and fear he had ever buried, every thought ever left unspoken, and every unsaid word.

LOL! That’s the kind of therapy that many of us could use! Great story!

That must have been one powerful scream.

This was on a movie I think. I think also it would be true. That screaming would release all that pent up anger or frustration as crying often does.

I think I saw it on a TV show and believe it’s true that sometimes, laughing or crying can be therapeutic.

Screaming can let feelings out I’ve heard but I’ve never tried it

I heard that too though I’ve never tried it either.

The mighty scream. I did lose track of who was speaking when she tells him to let go and then, in the same paragraph, he stares at her. Maybe if you made “He stared at her like she was crazy” it’s own paragraph.
