Friday Fictioneers: Interrogation

“Let me get this straight, you think I destroyed my furniture and set my home aflame?” Toby said, fingers tapping on the interrogation table while his feet did the same beneath. “Why would I do that?”

Detective Moore stood with his arms across his chest, “You tell me.”

Toby leaned forward, “I’m not telling you a thing. You’ll have to speak to my lawyer.” Just then, a light knock on the door and a man in a gray suit stepped in. “Well well, would you look at that.”

The man in the gray suit nodded at Toby, “Mr. Thompson.”
