Share Your World – Week of March 5, 2018

What did you or did not like about the first place you lived without your parents?

I wish! Unfortunately, I’m still living with my mom in my own house and the experience these days have been frustrated. Let’s just say, “Just because you’re the only one in the family with a job doesn’t make you queen.”

What is your most favorite smell/scent?

My most favorite smell is either the cool refreshing smell of air after a long overdue storm or the smell of a fragrant cake coming out of the oven.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?

If I don’t have to commute to my job, sure why not. Snowy winters are fun. I not only get to watch the pretty white snow fall from the sky, I also get to exercise after the storm stops with shoveling the driveway. However, everything has its drawbacks.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I registered for this April’s A-Z challenge yesterday, hooray. I decided to join this year after skipping last year. My theme will be related to photography. It will be so much fun and definitely something to smile over. The other thing that made me smile this week so far is I went to the thrift store and bought myself seven novels for $6.50. That’s a good deal.

I decided to try those Nicholas Sparks novel because I think I might need to read a little romance instead of reading thrillers and suspense novels all the time. I also got some classics like Great Expectations by Charles Dickens as well as books to movies which I’ve seen. I will be listing those books on my Goodreads profile.

Finally, I had a follow-up interview yesterday for one of my jobs and it looks like they think I’m a strong candidate and will be informing me on Friday. 🤞 I also had a follow-up from my other job and will be taking a test for that job tomorrow. Wish me luck. 🤞
