Spinning around, she searched for him. We haven’t seen each other since the ninth-grade, will he recognize me? She wondered, gripping tightly to the note in her hand. He was her first crush, first love, but they were broken up when her parents moved her across the country and since then, she’s been searching for him. It wasn’t until the invention of social media where she finally found him and a week ago, he messaged her that he was in town and would like to meet.
“I’m here,” she muttered, “where are you?”
Behind her, a familiar voice said, “Kathleen?”
