“Can I light it now?” He asked excitedly.
She glared at him through the eye-holes of her mask. “Be patient.” She said. “Besides, what’s the fun in lighting with our guest still unconscious?”
At the front of the room, hands tied behind her back, Sadie began to surface. Hearing that voice sent her mind spinning. She lifted her head and opened her eyes. “What the…” Though wearing a pale-blue mask, her shoulder-length dark hair gave her away. “Mandy?” Sadie croaked. “What is this?”
“What I should’ve done a long time ago.” Her adopted sister, Mandy, replied. “Light it.”
“My pleasure.”
