The alarms shrieked the second I walked into the library followed by flashing red lights. “Are you insane?” My friend, Tom, panted breathlessly as he skidded toward me. I frowned and noticed for the first time the spinning cameras above me. This new system sucked. They promised more freedom but it’s worse than living under the previous regime.
“Dude, I just need to use the tablet. Mine was…confiscated.” I said and marched toward one of the consoles in the enclosed area beneath the dome. That’s it. I don’t care. Whoever these new people are, they can all go to hell.

Who knows, maybe he’s got some incriminating stuff on it or maybe the new government of this world just like doing what they like. But I agree, there’s definitely more to the story than there is. Thank you for reading.

Maybe the new library people want their visitors to read real books instead of on line stuff.

I would love to know more of the story too, perhaps I’ll write it one day.
