I purposefully took yesterday off from work to go on an adventure to test out the functionalities of my new lens and I knew the perfect place to go. I went to Cascade Springs, a place I haven’t been to in 6 years. I was surprised that not much had changed about the spot but what did I expect? It’s nature. 6 years isn’t long enough to change in nature sometimes.

Anyway, I was told by my co-worker the day before that there would be lots of wildflowers in bloom in the area and he was right. One of the natives to this area is Canadian Thistles and they were everywhere in all shades of pink, I simply couldn’t get enough of them.
