Do you have a special talent (ie music, art, singing, dress making, pottery etc).

What can’t I do? I’m what people call a “Jack of all trades and master of none.” I have no special talent (that I know of) unless you can count my overactive imagination as a special talent. I can pretty much do a little of everything.

I’m not even sure if I have a choice especially with everyone in the family counting on me for everything. They all give me the same old lame excuses, “We’re getting old, so you will have to learn to do things on your own.” I don’t think it meant I’ll have to do anything for anyone else though.

What was your best subject at school and was it your favorite?

When I attended elementary school in China, my best subject at school was undoubtedly English, and it was also my favorite subject because it was just about the only thing I was good at.

When I attended school in the U.S., my best subject was math. I’m not certain I liked math all that much though. The only thing I liked about math is the language of numbers. I hated when the numbers were substituted with letters. It drove me nuts.

Do you like to cook?

Yes, I do like to cook even though there are days when I just want to be lazy. I haven’t cooked anything elaborate in quite a long while because mom doesn’t really let me cook these days but if I ever get the chance, my favorite thing to make is bread, particularly sourdough.

Do you get riled easily?

Actually, no, I don’t get riled easily. I don’t react to things as quickly as some people. I tend to stew it over for a moment before reacting but by then, everything has already simmered down. I’ve been told it was one of my dad’s character traits. He must had been a cool guy.
