Okay, since today is Sunday, I think this calls for an encore post. This post will be about so many things, a few things I have to announce.

First of all, awards…

I would very much like to thank Kat and Sheetal for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger Award last month as well as Good Woman for nominating me for the Very Inspiring Blog Award today. I am so sorry, gals, for taking me so long to respond.

 

 

It looks like the rules for both awards are:

Seven Facts about me:

1. You probably already know this from what I write, I am an introvert. I like to be by myself. I don’t know why but I get very irritated when I’m around people.
2. I really enjoy cooking but at the same time, I really hate cooking. Mostly I hate it because it takes forever and I don’t have the time to stand around all day waiting for something be done.
3. In my undergraduate classes, I used to struggle a lot with my homework and now in my graduate studies, my homework seems like a breeze. Is it possible me and engineering just don’t mix? Can it be possible I might actually be good at accounting?
4. I have now officially lived in the U.S. more than half of my life. Do I miss China? Yes, of course. Do I want to go back? Nah, there’s nothing and no one for me to go back to.
5. My mom often say this is a good thing. I don’t eat snacks, not since ever. She says this saves her a lot of money. Unless you put a bowl of chip in front of me and put a gun to my head, forcing to gulp it down, I won’t eat it until I actually want to.
6. I’m sure you know this too probably from reading my entries, I like the 90’s because there was no internet, no cellphone, everything was so much simple then.
7. Last but no least, I have no idea how to use an iphone or any kind of smart phone. I know it sounds strange for people of my generation but how can I learn to use one when I’ve never had one? Oh and let’s not forget, I hate texting, hated it from the first day.

Now, for the second piece of unfinished business…

Last week, I conducted a poll asking whether it’d be a good idea to combine my two blogs into one. I really appreciated your opinions and votes and I have decided.

Due to a staggering 3-to-1 vote, I have decided to merge my blogs into one. However, since there are so much material along with followers, the change won’t happen at once. It will happen slowly, baby steps. It can take a short time or it can take a while to achieve. I don’t know.

I am revamping the flash fiction I’ve written a long while ago on this blog. So stay tune. After that, I’ll probably start writing my stories for the flash fiction challenges on here. Like I said, baby steps.

Oh, and a very last note, I’d like to thank everyone for visiting my blog. It hit 10,000 views today!
