50 Facts

  1. I am an only child.
  2. I am the second oldest among the cousins that I currently know of.
  3. I have been to 15 states, Washington D.C., and two other countries – Canada and China.
  4. I attended three different high schools in three different states.
  5. I discover my love for music while playing with the radio tuner in 2003.
  6. The first radio station I listened to was Radio Disney.
  7. I hate when someone assumes someone is perfect. Nobody’s perfect and everyone makes mistakes.
  8. I am firm about most of my decisions though sometimes, I do change my mind.
  9. I prefer cold weather over hot weather. You can put on more clothes but cannot take off all your clothes when it’s hot. What will you do? Go naked?
  10. One of the sounds that annoys me very much is a baby or child’s crying. The other is airplanes flying over at the least expected moment.
  11. One thing that frustrates me is when a bus driver stops at a stop with no one getting on or off the bus.
  12. I am the most awkward person at parties and gatherings. So don’t invite me to any parties.
  13. I can be the loudest, most social person OR the quietest, most invisible person you will ever meet.
  14. I suffer from a very mild to severe case of stage fright. It depends on the event and situation. Talking – mild. Singing and performing – severe
  15. I like to cook (bake) and travel. I like to cook a blend of Asian and international cuisine.
  16. I really enjoy cooking but at the same time, I really hate cooking.
  17. My favorite food is Italian and American. After 24 years, I am absolutely tired of Chinese food.
  18. I used to play the piano and a little guitar. I don’t have a piano at the moment but I’m hoping to play again someday.
  19. I used to want to be a singer, a director, and an actress. Those were my childhood dreams. For a while, I wanted to be a graphic designer but let’s face it, that’s dream’s dead.
  20. I am extremely old-schooled, technology-wise, as in I am very reluctant to change when something’s still perfectly good.
  21. One of my favorite genres to write is Supernatural, another is fantasy. I am absolutely fascinated with the supernatural world and often wonder if it’s real and if I can be a part of it.
  22. I like to brew my stories. You know, rub my hands, add my ingredients and stir the pot like a witch. Mwahhh! The main point is for me to try out different plots in my head to see which works best before I write it all down.
  23. I absolutely do NOT know how to write a good happy ending! My favorite ending is to kill off the main character. Easy ending.
  24. I hate inconclusive endings/cliffhangers. They drive me crazy but at the same time, I really like to write them.
  25. I believe I lack a sense of humor but at the same time, sometimes, I feel like I am trying too hard to be funny.
  26. I am slightly caffeine intolerant. That is not very helpful during mornings with early classes.
  27. I have a desire to move to a country (rural) setting or somewhere there are different color of trees according to the season and no noise, except for an occasional car passing by.
  28. I want to travel to another country or continent and explore not just the major cities but the parts away from the cities that contain some interesting history.
  29. I try either too hard or not hard enough.
  30. I skipped half of the Fall semester and the spring semester of 4th grade as well as the Fall semester of 5th grade. So technically, I skipped almost two grades.
  31. My favorite colors are light purple (lavender), black, and white.
  32. I have always been told my skin feels icy. My mom and aunt told me that’s why they like to hug during the summer.
  33. I am an introvert. I like to be alone and not be bothered. I am at peace when it’s just me.
  34. I have officially lived in the U.S. for more than half of my life. Do I miss China? Yes, of course. Do I want to go back? Nah, there’s nothing and no one for me to go back to.
  35. I consider myself more American than Asian.
  36. I don’t eat snacks, not since ever.
  37. I believe in eating three nutritious meals plus a serving or two of fruit but no other snacks. Snacks are extra calories that unless it’s burned off before the next meal, it should not be eaten.
  38. I am a 90’s kid and I miss that era because there was no internet, no cellphone, everything was so much simple then.
  39. I have no idea how to use an iphone or any kind of smart phone. I know it sounds strange for people of my generation but how can I learn to use one when I’ve never had one?
  40. I hate texting, hated it from the first day. I think what brought on this hate is the fact that I have been texting for my mom and she’s picky about everything.
  41. I like music from 90’s and early 2000’s especially boy bands.
  42. I like listen to Country, Pop, Pop Rock, and EDM music. I also listen to a little bit of rap but it’s the kind with no swearing.
  43. I watch mostly supernatural dramas but I’m finding I enjoy criminal dramas and just drama as well. I also watch a lot of sitcoms but not a lot recently.
  44. I’ve been a fan of Disney Channel ever since I came to the U.S. I still watch Disney Channel, even near 27.
  45. A while ago, I hated taking pictures but now I’m addicted to it.
  46. I love to organize things but I hate cleaning.
  47. I’m a major procrastinator.
  48. Sometimes, I get angry at people stating the obvious.
  49. I also hate when people repeat things especially if it’s a mistake they made or I made. Okay, I get it, you don’t have to say it over and over.
  50. I enjoy proofreading things (essays, novels, anything). Is that weird?

      2. It’s one of the fun things we do in the blogging community. Once in a while, if a blogger enjoys your posts, he/she would nominate you for an award or two. You have to write a post, throw out a couple of facts about yourself, and nominate a few bloggers yourself. I think you’ll find out very soon.

      3. Thanks. I’ve seen people making reference to them but didn’t really know what they were. I’ll hold back on the facts about myself on my blog so I have something to write in future.
