I will admit, this is not the prettiest picture I have ever taken but it does fit this week’s topic of Broadening Your Scope. I took this when I went hiking in October. This picture was taken on the descent. I just couldn’t help myself. There’s not a lot of moss around here, so when I see moss, I must take a picture.
I wanted so much to shoot a macro of the moss but it didn’t work. I think it’s because the moss was too big, the camera couldn’t focus on just one section of it. Still, it looks nice.
Here are the technical specifications:
Sony DSC-W8000 (f/3.5, 6 mm, ISO-500, 1/100 sec)
This is pleasant, and reminds me of those fuzzy carpets that tickle your feet.

Haha, it kind of look like it, doesn’t it. Thank you for reading. 🙂

I have always loved how moss can look both comforting and creepy depending on how it is presented. What made you think of capturing the moss for this particular theme?

No particular reason. I just like to capture a photo of anything that is of nature.
