I shot this picture in Park City on New Year’s Day. I shot it because I was bored. I went to Park City for the third time with my mom and my former student’s mother, sister, and sister’s husband. They got tired quite quickly and wanted to sit down and eat. I indulged myself with three danish cookies because I didn’t have breakfast that day even though I knew the consequences but whatever, a girl’s gotta eat when she’s hungry.

After eating those cookies, they tried to shove another three into my hands. “No thanks. I’m good,” I said but they don’t like to take no for answer. So I walked away. Not faraway, just a few steps away to find things to photograph.
