Is every piece of truth worth telling? (credit to the magnificent Cyranny for this one)
I feel so conflicted at times when someone reminds me that I’m a grown woman and don’t need permission from anyone to leave the house or go do the things I like, except somehow I do.
To me, the word soft can mean so many things – fluffy as in furs or feathers, delicate, and in photography, soft-focus, meaning the texture has been taken out of the photographs. This week, I hope these old photos can convey the meaning of soft.
Good morning, it’s still pretty chilly out. Please come into the warmth and let’s chat in my fresh-bread-smelling kitchen. I had just finished baking a loaf of Sourdough Foccacia. It’s been a while since I’ve baked anything and I sure do love Foccacia. They are so savory and versatile.
I have a problem with people meddling into people’s lives. Isn’t there a saying – “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”? I think this applies to meddling as well. According to my personal experience and all those movies and TV shows I’ve watched over the year, I don’t think there’s ever been a scenario…
Have you ever ‘butt dialed” someone? (‘butt dialed’ means have you ever made a phone call that you weren’t aware of making, because the buttons on the phone got pushed by your sitting on them (in your pocket) OR having something in your handbag press against them?)
This prompt word for this week’s Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge is Divorce. For the past few weeks, I have been dealing with something that has something with my mom’s divorce from my step-dad. It’s been weighing on me and I’m hoping to talk to someone about this. Alas, there’s literally no one I can talk…
This week, for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #136, we are challenged to find a photo that contains a subject which begins with the letter S. I decided to get creative with this photo. Hope you like it.
Good morning, welcome to another edition of #weekendcoffeeshare. It looks like it’s going to be another cold one today. So please come in, hang up your coat and join me with a hot cup of something. I’m having my usual today – coffee with no sugar, no cream with a just a dash of unsweetened…
Sitting at the edge at the bathtub, naked, bald, one hand clutching a bottle of bourbon, the other a bottle of pills, Alex felt sad, alone, and lost.
Re-reading my sister, Bethany’s Will, I sighed, “My dear sister, you shall be the death of me.”
Do you feel you ask enough questions or do you settle for what you know?
This week, Sheetalbravon is guest-hosting this challenge and she challenges us to show a glimpse into our world – things that make our world spin or things that makes us happy.
Good morning, welcome or welcome back (for my regulars) to another edition of #weekendcoffeeshare. Please come on in to the warmth and out of the cold. It’s looking like it’s going to be another snowy Saturday in my part of the world.
“Crap, we’re stuck.” Em said as she dusted off her dress. A few minutes before, she and her husband, George, leapt from her granddad’s beloved train aka time machine as it hurdled 88-miles-per-hour toward what used to be a ravine.
In your opinion, do May/December (older partner with much younger partner) romances ever work?
A few weekends ago, I spent a few hours sitting before my laptop with Adobe Lightroom Classic opened on the second monitor sorting photos. I knew I had a lot of photos but I was not expecting to be almost 5,000 photos. How did I manage to take so many photos and not remember that…
Good morning, it’s cold out. Please come in and join me for a socially distanced chat and a cup of coffee or a hot beverage of your choosing.
“Honey!” I shout and immediately, I can hear a pair of big feet padding down the corridor to outside the bathroom door.
If the government offered to suspend all laws, and law enforcement for 24 hours, letting you (and everybody else) do whatever you wish… Would you be in favor of it, or not? (Credit for this question goes to Cyranny and her Daily Quickie Question)
I think my photography journey truly began when I took and posted this photo (above) at the end of March 2015. It was this close up of the Japanese Plum Blossom taken with a simple Fuji 7.2 megapixel point-and-shoot that got me interested in photography and I haven’t stopped much since.
Good morning and thank you for joining me for yet another #WeekendCoffeeShare.
