How many times you post in a day/ week/ month and what’s the rationale behind this schedule?

So what about you? The schedule you’ve set for yourself- what does it depends on? Are you very regular in your posting or does it depends on your other commitments?

My posting frequency has changed over the many years I’ve been writing and posting my thoughts.

My posting frequency went from sporadic in 2013 to one post per day in 2015 to a maximum of 3 per day in 2017. I think I was posting so much in 2017 was because I was bored. I was in China for 4 months with little to do other than working at a remote job, walking around town, and having a spot of tea with my grandmother. When I returned from my travel, I was working a job I hated at the time.

Eventually, all kind of blogging came to a halt in 2019 when my current job took a toll on my blogging hobby and I was back to doing one day a day until I stopped blogging completely.

There was no announcement, nothing. One day, I just stopped.

I don’t know what drew me back other than my 10-year high school union made me feel nostalgic. Even then, my posting was sporadic because I was determined to write original material that weren’t prompted. That was a fail.

Long story short, my posting frequency has been the most solid these last 4 years with one post per day on weekends – #WeekendCoffeeShare on Saturdays and Lens-Artist on Sundays. I post at least once on Weekdays if not twice – once at 8:15 AM MT (mountain time) and once at 12:15 PM. To be honest, I’m not sure why I have chosen these 2 times other than 8:15 is usually when I will start my day and 12:15 marks the half-way point for me.

Whether I post once or twice per day does depend on my other commitments as well as my energy level. I have been posting less and it’s taking me a little longer to get through comments and catch up on blogs as of late because of work load and fatigue but I do try to write as many posts as I can when I’m able and have the energy level to do so.
