  6. Lovely, Yinglan. Beautiful actually. A great prize for a gardener. My potatoes are still brewing. I’m curious to see how long it all takes. Our weather is pure weird as well.

  7. Do you plant seed or the potato’s eyes? I just planted the eyes. Our gardener cut the wilting top off and I thought that was it. Then a new plant shot up and is looking quite smart. It’s all in a flower pot. We have paving mostly with a couple of garden beds. Everything else is in a pot. It’s not my house. I just live upstairs. Anyway, looking forward to our progress.

    1. I planted a whole seed potato into the ground this year. I also have a variety of potato that can be started from tiny seeds but I chose not that start that now.
      If your gardener cut it off and new plants are shooting up, it is most likely one of the potatoes had sprouted.
