Please Note: 100% fiction!
It must had been one hell of a party here, I thought as meandered along the boulder-lined walkway, until the blip, that is.
Haha, I know what you’re thinking. The “blip”? Isn’t that a MCU thing? Nope, it happened. The remaining scientists estimated 56.5% of the world population disappeared on that day, including this bunch, apparently.
I’m still here though, along with 3.5 billion other people, occupying the Earth while ignoring all the abandoned cars and buildings. Someday, these people will return along with my family, kids, and friends. Until then, I guess this party will just have to wait.

Wow! I hope your narrator’s confidence that everyone will return is justified. There’s an intriguing under-layer to this story. I want to know more! Always a good sign.

Thank you. I think the narrator’s confidence is based off of the movies. I don’t know whether you’ve seen any of the Marvel Avengers films but something similar happened but everyone returned 5 years later. It’s the main inspiration for this story.
