Ten steps to my humble abode for the next month.
Nine more steps to go, that’s one down, nine to go.
Eight more, come on, you can do this.
Seven, wow, this is harder than I thought and I thought I was fit.
Six more steps, how do people do this?
Five steps until my vacation begins, even though, well, it technically has begun.
Four steps until I unlock the door with the code that’s been burned into my mind.
Three steps until I can let go of my suitcase.
Two more steps, phew, is it me or are these stairs steep?
One more step, ooh, check out these beautiful flowers
Here we go, here we are.

I love your take Yinglan. Counting every step till you get there. Thanks for joining in.

I find it easier to count the steps than focusing on the heaviness of the suitcase.

I enjoyed the count down with you, Yinglan! I sure hope that there’s a bottle of white wine ice cold, cheese, crackers, and cashews inside waiting the arrival!!
