A Completely Fictional Story..
It came out of nowhere!
It started with a shimmer…okay, it started with a day at the mall but who cares, I only have 100 words…“what are you doing?” My friend’s eyes were fixated at the shimmer. Was she causing this? What is happening?
The shimmer grew into a beam of light. “Seriously, what are you doing?”
The beam of light became a ball of light as people gathered around us. O.M.G! My friend’s a freaking witch!
Poof!
The strangest thing appeared, like a Christmas-ornament-slash-fancy-glass-art. “Do you like it?” My friend asked, seemingly normal.
“Uh, what is it?”
(100 words)

Not sure whether she’s a friend to cherish or flee!

Cute… the dilemma of a friend, does she tell the truth or keep it vague.

You’re right. What is it? Lots of creative stuff have a visual appeal, but I wonder what the practically is.

I wonder about that, too.

I think I’d turn and run! It does often feel like art has some sort of surreal element to it. Unique take on the prompt.

It kinda does, I couldn’t work it into the story though.

Very mysterious. I like the chatty start about the mall and how your tone shifts as the story develops. She’d be wise to stay in that friend’s good books, I’d suggest.

I think so, too. It’d be wise to stay on the good side of any witch. 😀
