“Mommy, look!” The little girl seated across excitedly pointed at the view outside the window. “Snow!”
Curiously, I gave a subtle glance outside and smiled at the little girl. She smiled back. “Yes, honey, it’s snow.” The little girl’s mother smiled apologetically. “Now, shh, you’re on a quiet train.”
When I got off at the next station, I stood on the platform and watched the train pull out of the station. As it pulled out, I could see the little girl wave at me. I returned her wave, smiled, and thought, she must be off on some grand adventure today.

Absolutely! And I think the little girl felt glad that a stranger smiled at her, she was probably unhappy of her mother’s scolding.
