“Don’t be fooled by his cuteness, the old man’s always watching.” The man with the strange accent said.
“How?” Patty asked, bending down to the old man’s eye-level, “Is there a camera inside it?” She tried to grab it but the old man is stuck to the railing.
The man with the strange accent laughed, “Camera,” he said slowly, “do you see a camera?”
“Well, no, but camera can be not seen.” Patty said, basing her opinion on all those spy and suspense movies she had binge-watched on the weekends. “Ever heard of hidden cameras?”
The man with the strange accent laughed again. “Yes, I do not live under a rock, you know. However, hidden cameras inside the old man? Preposterous.”
Patty shrugged and walked away. If she stayed a few seconds longer, she would’ve seen the blinking red dot on the ground. Patty’s conversation with the man with the strange accent had been recorded by the old man.
