Six Sentence Story: Trim

“Timmy, how many times do I have to tell you to trim your hair?”

Timmy ignored his mother, and concentrated with all his might on trimming his skateboard video to only include the good parts, this must be published tonight, he thought fiercely.

His mother raised her voice, “Timmy, are you even listening to me?”

Breathe, Timmy, breathe, Timmy thought to himself as he took shallow breaths between his teeth as his mother stormed out of the room, that was close, Timmy thought and ran a hand through his precious hair. It’s my brand, my signature, how can she not see that?

Moments later, however, a buzzing noise sounded behind him, it sounds like a…, he thought but by the time the word reached his tongue, it was too late, one jerk of his head backward had caused his mother’s hair trimmer to veer off course. 😬
