“Psst.” Elaine crumbled up a piece of paper and threw it as hard as she could at Tommy.
It hit him near his right eye, jolting him awake, groggily, he looked around, “Huh? What?” He glanced at the time on his computer. How much longer do I have to endure this? He wondered as he fought to keep his eyes open.
The night before, he was at a dance party. He was supposed to leave early to get home, so his sleep wouldn’t be impeded but just as he was about leave, a fight broke out and suddenly, all the exits were blocked, sealing him inside. It was hours later that the police came and broke down the door, at which time, everyone flooded out the club like a stampede. Didn’t want to be trampled, Tommy was one of the last to leave.
“Psst!” Tommy looked around to locate the source. It was his braces-wearing co-worker Elaine. “Psst!” Tommy pointed at his chest, as in, are you talking to me? Quickly, she scribbled on her notepad, “Where were you last night?”
“Party,” he mouthed. Party I will be regret going to for the rest of my life, he added mentally.

Poor Tommy, I don’t think he’s going dancing any time soon. thanks for joining in Yinglan.
