“Nice costumes.” Kevin snorted as Mustache Ed and Geeky Scott from the IT department walked through the door dressed as Super Mario and Luigi from the video game. Meanwhile, Kevin was dressing as…well I’ll let Kevin tell you.

“And who are you supposed to be?” Ed retorted, “an Eskimo?”

“Haha, very funny, Ed. I am Davy Crockett.”

“We’ll see about that.” Ed muttered as he and Scott got onto the elevator. After all, the best costume is the one with the big prizes at the company Halloween party each year and Ed knew he would be a shoe-in to win and with Scott by his side, he can win in other categories as well.

9 AM marked the beginning of the first meeting for the IT and it was also Kevin’s coffee break. Wearing his over-sized coat over his costume, Kevin made his way to the coffee shop to pick up his order but just as he was about to cross the street, he spotted 2 familiar individuals sitting by the window enjoying coffee. Quickly, he pulled out his phone from his coat pocket and checked the statuses of Ed and Scott. “In a meeting,” their statuses read and from Kevin’s observation, those two are definitely not a meeting.

“Should I go in there and confront them?” He wondered aloud. Just then, Ed spotted him and smiled, a smile that told him, “you’ll never tell on us.”
