
Teri practically flew up the stairs toward the apartment she shared with Shelley, her heart was light and she felt elated at the date she and her co-worker, Sasha, just had. When Teri entered the apartment, Shelley was sitting at the kitchen counter, eating ice cream, when Shelley saw her, she had a I told you look on her face, “I take it the date went well.”
“I guess it did,” Teri smiled and grabbed a bottle of beer from the fridge, “I don’t know what I was worrying about.”
“So I guess there’s a romance bubbling between you two now.”
Teri also choked on her beer, though the date went well and she liked her French tall handsome co-worker, calling it a romance felt a bit premature to Teri, “I just had one date, Shelley, I wouldn’t call it a romance just yet.”
“Teri, you practically flew into the apartment just now and the smile on your face, if that’s not romance, I don’t know what is.”
