The Flower Hour #22: Plum Blossoms

I’m probably not the only one out there who suddenly have to ditch all the winter clothes for summer clothes. It was barely 70-degrees yesterday and already, I had to put on shorts and the forecast was saying it will only get warmer.

Oh my, it’s only March and it feels like tomato season, except, my tomatoes have just germinated. Suddenly, I feel like I’m late for planting. Hopefully, I’m not. I am just now starting to transplant spring vegetables who don’t mind a little heat and the cold. I’m not crazy enough to move my peppers out yet, still risky. Maybe in a few days.

Anyway, this plum tree woke up from its winter nap at the end of February. This is probably the earliest I’ve ever seen it wake up and this tree has been here since 2018. I saw these blooms on the tree over the weekend and knew I must capture it for this challenge.
