How many times you edit or rewrite your post before publishing it? 

How many times do you read and edit your posts before publishing them? Do you have to correct an error after you have posted a blog post?

It depends on the type of post I am writing. I usually do a spot check before publishing and if something needs correcting, then I’ll correct it. I don’t use Grammarly or any kind of grammar checker. I tried Grammarly in the past but that drove me insane, especially when I was writing a flash fiction.

Every line of dialogue would be flagged because the way I was writing was deemed “informal.” Maybe I just needed to change the tone of speech?

I usually will perform more edits on a post when I’m writing flash fiction, particularly one with word or sentence limit. I’d like to fit all that I want to convey in the alloted word or sentence count. If there’s no limit on either, then the number of edits will depend on the length of the story. I never keep track of the number of edits I do for a post, I just edit until it’s good enough for me to schedule the post.
