This past week has been so crazy! At the beginning of the week, the temperature suddenly jumped from the 60’s to the 80’s and yesterday, 90’s!

The entire street had already cranked up their AC units except us.  Mom doesn’t like the AC for some odd reasons.  So she doesn’t turn it on unless she absolutely cannot stand it which is about 100. Yes, she is extremely heat tolerant. 🙂  So I always end up seeking refuge in our dark, dingy, spider-filled basement.

She clicked her tongue and shouted at me I’m stubborn yesterday for still sitting in my south-facing second story room even though the thermostat read 86.  So what! The basement is way too distracting for me what with all the creepy crawly noises and my stereo.  I’d just end up listening to music down there.

Thank god that the heat only lasted three days ’cause it’s too early for the temperature to get this high. It’s not even summer yet!

After reading a chapter of Pride and Prejudice last night, I finally drifted asleep. This morning, thanks to a cold front that swept through last night and brought the temperature back down to the 70’s, I finally managed to sleep pass 8!

Now I’m finally pumped full on energy for the first time in the entire week and ready to study for my GMAT.  Well, that’s all I have to say for now.
