Photo101: Moment and Motion

This is a picture of the University of Utah fountain. wpid-dscf0942.jpgIf you’ve ever been to or visited the school, this fountain is located acrossed from the Mariott Library, the largest library in the state of Utah or so I’ve been told. I took this in the summer before I even went to this school. It was during a trip when I visited the school with my friends. I just seized the moment as we walked by and snapped the picture.

I remember the first days I ate lunch sitting by the fountain. It was the coolest spot (literally) on campus, that is, except for the air-conditioned library of course. Other spots were like 100 degrees.

This is by far the oddest picture my mom has ever taken but it captures moment and motion perfectly. I didn’t even know this picture existed until I looked back after. This was during my high school graduation and I was walking up the stage to receive the booklet which would later be the final resting place of my high school diploma. The only problem I have with this picture is the red eyes. The photo editting app I use, Pixlr, can fix the right eye but it couldn’t fix the left. So don’t look close or you’ll get creeped out by how unnatural my left eye look (the white part disappeared). At least that’s better than having red eyes, right?
