Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets?

I don’t believe in extraterrestrials but I do believe there is life on other planets. When I say life on other planets, I mean human but not like us Earth human. There has to be a subtle difference about them, like something weird to help them adapt to their environment. But little green men in aluminum space suits? I can’t even bring up a picture in my head.

How many places have you lived? You can share the number of physical residences and/or the number of cities.

I was born in Zhongshan, China and I lived in the same apartment for the first five years or so before moving to a second apartment, a much upscale one, at the time, at least. Then after my mom immigrated to the U.S. alone, I had lived in at least four different places, bouncing from relative to relative. Whichever relative was willing to accept me was to be my temporary home. For some reason, I was considered troubled among my relatives.

After arriving in the U.S., I lived in El Monte, California, a suburb of LA, for the first four years, then I moved to Austin, Texas for 1.5 years. After that, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and settled there for about 2 years before moving to my current location, Layton.

If you given $22 million tax free dollars (any currency), what is the first thing you would do?

$22 million, that is quite a lot of money. I think I will use it to solve all my problems. I will use it to pay off my student loans and my mom’s two rental property. After that, she can do whatever she wants with the houses and not have to worry about mortgage. Yeah, I’m that nice but honestly, it’s because one of the tenants isn’t paying rent and it’s driving mom to the brink of insanity and when she’s this way, I’m this way.

Then I’m going to invest some of it in something, I don’t know what. With the rest, I’m going to move to Small town, USA, get a house with white picket fence and become a business owner. I’m thinking a bakery. I’ve always like to bake but mom’s worried I mess up the kitchen. If I can only dream…

The Never List: What are things you’ve never done? Or things you know you never will do?

I will never:

• Jump from an airplane
• Eat green onion or any kind of onion (yuck)
• Jump from a waterfall
• Grab a rope and swing myself into the water
• Go anywhere far unprepared (at least not without food, blanket, and water)
