This is a back alley behind my aunt’s apartment. I lived in this community fifteen years ago, before immigrated to the U.S. My aunt is currently living in the next building. This is one of the oldest existing community in my hometown and just about the only thing I can still remember.

I like wandering such nooks and crannies. A lot of story hidden in there

The buildings sure are close together! I bet they make a lot of friends living in these buildings.

Oh yeah, those old folks know pretty much everyone because they’ve been living here for decades. Old folks here tend to stick to the older part of the city due to its convenience.

I can understand why they would stick to the older part of the city because of convenience. It’s probably a lot closer to the shops they need to patronize.

Very true. I like this part of the city too since I grew up in it.

That is wonderful that you get to go visit the area of the city that you grew up in.

It’s even more wonderful I’m living in the building next to the one I lived in before I came to the U.S.

Wow! That is great! Probably all very nostalgic for you. Do you wish you still lived there?

Honestly, no, I don’t wish I still live here because I know school will be harder and I have no doubt my health will cause me many problems.

That’s right. Your health probably would be worse in China. It’s a good thing you live in the states and can visit China. I look forward to all the photos!
