Sunday Gratitude

Let’s see, what to be grateful for? Well, I guess I am grateful to not have landed in the hospital this week after eating such a dangerous dish as lamb stew hot pot on spring equinox. I’m still smelling that medicinal aroma everywhere. My aunt and grandpa haven’t been so lucky. My aunt’s been coughing her lungs out while my grandpa even landed himself in the hospital because of a gallstone obstructing his urinary tract, prohibiting him to pee. I think he shifted the stone when he was coughing his lungs out like my aunt.

I am also grateful for the extraordinary warm weather even if it only lasted a few days. I say extraordinary because even though it was 80-degrees, it felt extra hot because of the humidity. It’s always in the upper 80% in these parts. When you’re inside, it’s slightly more tolerable but when you’re outside, you’ll look like someone had pour a bucket of water down your shirt. If you’ve ever been to Houston, Texas, you’ll know what I mean.

Anyway, that’s all I’m grateful for this week.
