What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you that is not part of your regular daytime routine?
I keep forgetting I’m no longer in school therefore no homework and lots of spare time when I’m not at a desk.
So what should I do when I’m not working?
Hmm… I can think of a few things I want to do when I’m not working:
- Hike
- Sleep
- Work out, lose some weight (yeah right) 😄😄
- Go on a movie binge
- Go for a drive through a forest
- Write, perhaps I’ll finally finish one of my short stories
- Read
- Bake
- You know, all the fun things when one isn’t occupied by homework
What would you do if you won the lottery?
Ooh, I won the lottery?!
I would do a lot of things starting with quitting my jobs and pursuit my career as a writer. Then I’ll take a few cruises around the world. I might take my mom along, if she behaves. After the cruises, I may return and start my very own bakery.
What makes you laugh the most?
I laugh at pretty much anything worth laughing at. Most of them involve human interaction. For example, at work, the way my co-worker and another co-worker (not the horrible co-worker I’ve been talking about) interact makes them sound like an old marry couple which makes me laugh. The way they interact often lightens the office mood.
What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology?
My biggest pet peeve with modern technology is that it can break all of the sudden and sometimes, we can lose precious files in the process.
This week, I believe I am saying goodbye to my longtime tablet. It went into a boot loop suddenly yesterday. I can’t get past the title screen. Desperately, I turned to my ex-co-worker from the cell phone repair shop and he’s willing to help me.
I’m supposed to hear back today and I’m praying he’ll be able to repair the tablet for me but at the same time, I feel it’s time to retire this tablet and get a new one. I’ve been feeling so awkward without it because it’s my communication device but at least I’m not losing anything since everything is saved on a SD card.
R.I.P. tablet. 😭😭😭

Oh, I can feel you about having to give up your tablet. My iPad is running out of memory and it’s getting harder and harder for me to do things on it. I will be lost when I can no longer use it because I can’t afford a new one right now. I have a laptop but Ihonestly don’t know how to use it for blogging.

Yeah, having it break down last year and again this year is really frustrating because all the internal parts (battery, memory board) in the tablet are new. That’s what I don’t understand. Blogging hasn’t been a problem for me without my tablet, I’m used to blogging from my laptop.

I need to force myself to learn to blog from my laptop but honestly, all I ever use is my iPad.

I think blogging from a laptop is better than on a tablet. At least I can type faster on the keyboard. I never use my tablet to blog. I only use it to read blogs and check notifications.

I have a keyboard for my iPad which makes it like a laptop.

Oh, I don’t have anything on my tablet, thank goodness. Everything’s on a SD card.

Is it just me or is technology evil? Anything that lets depend on it and then suddenly breaks at the worst possible time has got to be evil! At least, that’s what my laptop does.

Well, some technology can be good and some can be good in some ways but I get why you’d think technology is evil.
