Dictionary.com defined the word, transient, as not lasting, enduring, or permanent. It immediately made me think of the wild flowers and bees from my recent hiking trips as well as life, precisely the lives of the extinct dinosaurs.
As some of you know, I went to Dinosaur National Monument this past weekend and learned about dinosaurs’ lifestyles from 1.5 millions years ago as well as how they died to have their fossilized skeletons buried in the rocks. The story was quite sad even though they did reign the Earth for a time. Their reign eventually ended with ice age, drought, and with them struggling to find water and vegetation. Now, their buried bones will be forever on display since those bones couldn’t be extracted from the rocks.

It’s so interesting to see evidence of the dinosaurs. Hard to believe they once roamed around. The rock drawings…it looks like they drew aliens! May be proof that they did see aliens here all those years ago. 🙂

Yeah, it’s quite hard to believe that this used to bee their home and I agree, those rock drawings sure look look like aliens. 😃 Maybe people from long ago did see aliens.

Things sure changed over the years… but transience is merely illusory! 🙂
