Note: I wrote this right before bed on August 28, 2017.
I am just exhausted. I felt like I’d worked a double-shift. Today at work, I rushed back and forth trying to figure out how to fill out some damn forms in order to get the bank to disburse a part of a loan. Just as I thought I got to breathe, my mom had rotator-cuff surgery. She will be wearing her sling for the next 6 weeks.
She is not a great patient and I have to admit I got frustrated when she screamed about how her bad arm was dangling and not secured to the sling. “I’m sorry,” I told her, “I’ve never put together a sling before.” And oh my goodness, it was a lot of Velcro.
Anyway, now that I can finally access my laptop, I can finally take a breath and enjoy this beautiful scenery.
Here’s to hoping for a better day Tuesday.
