Photo of the Day!

I rode the bus home alone yesterday afternoon, probably for the first time since I started my new job. All the other times, I can only remember riding home with my mom. Anyway, the weather was fantastic yesterday too. I mean, other than suddenly hailing at noon, it was fantastic. The mid-70’s temperature made me miss spring so much and the cool breeze, it felt so good.

After I arrived home, I decided to go out into the garden to see how my plants were doing. My dahlias weren’t doing so great last week but it looked like all it needed was a good rainstorm. My strawberry plants looked great too. I think the most surprising had to be the raspberries. There were no flower during spring and I remember thinking there wouldn’t be any fruit this year but look at this! Maybe there will be fruit this year after all.

  1. Oh! Baby strawberries! I used to grow them in my back yard in the USA. Last time I saw strawberries growing was in Canada, wild, in a big meadow on a mountain. Bear food! They were teeny tiny but delicious!
