What would you name the autobiography of your life?
I think I’ve mentioned this before (quite long ago) that I would name my autobiography A Light in the Dark because I am a hopeful person despite hard times. I mean, at least, that’s what I’ve been told.
Which do you prefer sweet, salty or buttery?
I like all three but of course, not all at once. If you had asked me this question four or five months ago (back in February or March), I would had answered sweet.
I was craving sweets at that time. It felt torturous to eat sweets because I know it’s bad for the body yet I couldn’t help myself. Lately though, I have been craving something salty. It’s a different sensation from my sugar craving a few months ago. I think I’m craving roasted salted nut though I don’t know why. I can control it though which is good.
What’s the finest education?
I’m not sure what this question means but I think a person can learn the most through life experience and trial and error (sort of like an adventure) and that’s much more than anyone can learn in a higher education institute. For a long time, I thought going to school meant getting a fine education but apparently not because without life experience, one only has an average chance of getting employed.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
The 4th of July holiday made me smile last week because not only I got to walk in a parade, I got a paid day off. It also meant I didn’t have to work as many hours as I do in a normal week. Two jobs combined, I only worked about 36 hours last week.
Last Saturday’s hike also made me smile even though I did end up had to hike alone. It’s always a pleasure to spend time in nature, to be in a place where the birds are louder than the wind.
