Name something you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark forest or in an abandoned building.
Obviously, I don’t want to run into anything scary in a dark forest like coyotes or any kind of large beasts. Let’s face it though, I will never go into a dark forest. I’m terrified of the dark.
Meanwhile, I’m not as afraid of running into something in an abandoned building as I’m afraid of slipping on oil or water. According to all the movies and TV shows I’ve watched, abandoned buildings tend to have puddles on the ground.
Share the creepiest thing that’s ever happened while you were alone.
Nothing creepy is coming to mind or maybe I just don’t remember. Not a lot creeps me out, other than the dark and bad people (robbers, men with knives and/or guns breaking into people’s houses).
What would you like your last words to be?
This is a scary question and a terrifying thought. I can’t come up with anything. I will just have to wing it when the doomed moment comes.
Do you believe in any ‘mythical’ monsters like chupacabras or shadow people?
I do believe in them but I don’t have a specific one that’s my favorite.
How long do you think you would last in a horror movie?
Probably less than a minute. I don’t deal well with terrifying situations. I will just let whatever it is kill me first so I can get this horror movie over with.
Anyone know the reason behind putting candles in jack-o-lanterns?
According to Google, it gives the jack-o-lantern an inner glow that brings the creation to life.
Are you afraid of or find clowns creepy?
It depends on the clown’s makeup. A few of my friends often dress as clowns to church. They are teachers for children Bible study classes. It might have something to do with who’s behind the makeup and costume but I’m not a bit afraid of clowns.
In the zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice?
Obviously a gun. In all the movies and TV shows I’ve seen, only a bullet to the head can kill a zombie.
Have you ever had your tarot cards read?
Nope but I’m curious though.
Do you think putting special emphasis on certain holidays – like Halloween is ‘spooky’ for example — is a good idea or just more mindless entertainment for the masses?
I think sometimes, everyone can use some mindless entertainment and I think the end of the year is a great time for that kind of entertainment because it’s dark and cold – it’s winter and the sun is setting earlier than during the summer. So yes, it’s a good idea.
Share a positive thought or message or something that’s inspired you this week.
I look at a lot of positive quotes on Pinterest to help me get through the week. I have a board called, “Good thoughts” and I add a few thoughts on there each day. Then on Mondays and Thursdays, I post one of the memorable quotes as part of Thought of the Day. Here is one of the memorable quotes I found this week.
