Nobody wanted the role. In fact, nobody in their right mind would had wanted the role. To squeeze your feet into those tiny-size-2-boots everyday for six weeks? No, thanks. Why couldn’t they cast a child for this role? The character is a child anyway. Is casting a child really this difficult? I thought angrily as I got dressed in ratty old clothes and a newspaper-boy-hat. Then squeezing my feet into the tiny boots, I sighed and repeated my mantra, “My name is Jake. I am sixteen years old but for the next six weeks, I am Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol.”

Why didn’t he quit if he was so unhappy?

He had a better role in the beginning and was switched later on but I think deep down, he just enjoys acting.

I expect the pain in his feet makes his agony so believable, God bless everyone – ouch.

Hmm… maybe that’s why they didn’t cast a child in that role.
