Share Your World – Week of March 4, 2019

What’s the first thing you notice about a person?

When I meet a person, the first thing I usually notice is his/her pose. Is he/she crossing his/her arms nonchalantly or in an annoyed kind of way? Or whether he/she is tapping his/her foot in a way that read, “okay, let’s get this over with already.”

A person’s pose and behavior at first sight really tells a lot about the person and the situation and often times, it tells whether this person is really interested in conversing and I think that’s more important than how this person looks.

What three habits do you feel would improve someone’s life?

  1. Compliment
  2. A moment of peace and silence
  3. Hug

What takes up too much of your time?   Would you stop that if you could?

My commute definitely takes up way too much of my time even though I do get to nap or read during my commute. Unless I take the earliest bus to work at 5:23 AM every morning, my commute is typically about 1 hour one way and because I take the bus, I have to wake up early every morning.

I think if I don’t need to pay for gas, parking, and let’s not mention a whole lot of energy, I would definitely drive instead of riding the bus. That would cut my commute time in half. Unfortunately, the cost is too great for it to happen.

Cookies (biscuits to those elsewhere), pastries, pie or cake?   If not, what does your sweet tooth crave?

All of the above because why not?!

Gratitude?  Are You Happy?  If so, why?  If not, why not?

Despite the mild case of anxiety, irritation, and frustration brought on by my mom’s family’s presence, I’m fairly happy at the moment. I am grateful they are only staying here until the house next door is fixed up. My mom is giving them two weeks. I pray that’ll be enough. I am definitely grateful this situation is not forever.

  1. Thank you sincerely for Sharing Your World! Good luck with your family situation, it’s true it can get annoying having them stay in your home, but trust me, you miss them when they aren’t there any more. I hope you can drive once in a while and savor the time saved on the bus. That’s way too early in the morning to be climbing aboard, but good on you for thinking of ways to conserve rather than consume! Thank you again. I loved reading your answers! 🙂
